Sungor orAsungor is an ethnic group inChad. They speakAssangori, a Nilo-Saharan language. They numbered at least 60,000 according to a 1996 source.[1]
The Sungor are mainlypastoralists who raise goats, camels, and cattle. They also engage insubsistence agriculture.[1]
Majority of the Sungor are Muslim.[1]
