Freethinkers' Pinnacle Party orSummit of Freethinkers[5][6] orFreethinkers Front[7] (Persian:حزب چکاد آزاداندیشان,Chekad-e Azadandishan)[7] is an Iranianprincipalistpolitical party founded in 2000, mostly byIslamic Azad University academics.[2] They competed in the2000 Iranian legislative election and were able to gain some success.[7] In2001 and2005 presidential elections, they supportedAbdollah Jassbi andAkbar Hashemi Rafsanjani respectively. In2009 presidential election, the party did not support any candidates, but invited people to vote. They also have endorsedThe two Societies'electoral list for theAssembly of Experts elections in 2006.[1]
