Sulcular epithelium

Area of gum tissue lining the space between the gums and teeth
Thegingival sulcus(G) is bounded by theenamel(A) of thecrown of thetooth and thesulcular epithelium. The sulcular epithelium is that epithelium which exists on the sulcular side of the free gingival margin(F). The oral epithelium(E) exists on the other side of the free gingival margin.

Indental anatomy, thesulcular epithelium is thatepithelium which lines thegingival sulcus.[1] It isapically bounded by thejunctional epithelium and meets the epithelium of theoral cavity at the height of thefree gingival margin. The sulcular epithelium isnonkeratinized.[1]
