Sukhasiddhi (flourished 11th Century) was an Indian teacher ofVajrayana Buddhism, ayogini and master ofmeditation. She was born in westKashmir to a large, poor family. A mother of three sons and three daughters, she once gave a beggar the only food in the house and was expelled from home.
She traveled toOḍḍiyāna, thought to be the land ofdakas and dakinis, and there she metVirupa, amahasiddha who became her guru. Sukhasiddhi quickly became completely realized and together withNiguma, as well as Rāhula,Maitripada andVajrasapana, was the root teacher of theTibetan yogiKhungpo Naljor, who founded theShangpa Kagyu school ofTibetan Buddhism.
