Sujata Sahu (born 1972) is an Indian politician fromOdisha.[1] She is an MLA fromJajpur Assembly Constituency inJajpur District. She representsBiju Janata Dal Party. She won the2024 Odisha Legislative Assembly election.[2][3]
Sahu hails from Jajpur. Her husband Gobinda Sahu is a farmer. She completed Class 9 in 1983 at Seshadev Basanti High School, Bhubaneswarpur, Jajpur.[1]
Sahu won the2024 Odisha Legislative Assembly election fromJajpur representingBiju Janata Dal. She polled 86,049 votes and defeated Goutam Ray ofBharatiya Janata Party by a margin of 2,564 votes.[4][5]
