Sudhanshu Pandey (born 22 August 1974) is anIndian model, film and television actor, singer, writer and producer. He has appeared in many films, inHindi,Tamil andTelugu languages.

After a successful modelling career, he made the television debut withBeta, aired in 1996. In 1999 Pandey featured in one of the songs,Maikhane se Sharab se fromPankaj Udhas 's AlbumMahek. A year later, his debutant movie wasKhiladi 420 as co-lead withAkshay Kumar. Then, he become part of India's first ever boy bandA Band of Boys. In 2002, his first albumYeh Bhi Woh Bhi was released. Later in 2005 Pandey opted out of the band as he needed to settle down financially .^[2]

Pandey also regularly appeared in Tamil cinema throughout the 2010s, and first portrayed the main villain inBilla II (2012) starringAjith Kumar. He later followed that up with roles inMeaghamann (2014),Indrajith (2017) and2.0 (2018), the most expensive Indian film at the time of its release.^[3][4]

Pandey has a production house, namedRaw Stock Production Private Limited under which he had produced a music video his first singleTeri Adaa in 2018 in which he was a lyricist also, as well as a short film namedFitrat in 2021, along with Tahir Baig, his second home production.

Since 2020, he has been portrayed Vanraj Shah inAnupamaa, which has popularized him among the Hindi-speaking audience.^[5][6] However he quit the series in August 2024 after four years.^[7][8]In 2022, he reprised his role of Vanraj Shah inAnupamaa's eleven-episode prequel web seriesAnupama: Namaste America which streams onDisney+ Hotstar.^[9]

His Second Solo Single Dil Ki Tu Zameen was launched in 2023 in which he performed also alongside Madalasa Chakraborty, he produced the song.In 2024 , Pandey Rejoined the Band Of Boys .

His mother isPunjabi and he identifies as "half-Punjabi."^[10]

Pandey is married to Mona Pandey and they have two sons, Nirvaan and Vivaan Pandey.^[11][12]
