Sturgeon Lake is a long, thinlake located in theKenora District ofNorthwesternOntario,Canada, 200 km (124 mi) along theManitoba-Ontario border fromHudson Bay and 6.5 km (4.0 mi) from the Manitoba border.
TheSturgeon River flows north-west into and out of the lake, and eventually flows intoHudson Bay via theHayes River.
