Strmca (pronounced[ˈstəɾmtsa]; in older sources alsoStrmica,[2]German:Stermiza,[2]Italian:Stermizza) is a smallvillage west ofPlanina in theMunicipality of Postojna in theInner Carniola region ofSlovenia.[3]
The name of the settlement was changed fromStrmica toStrmca in 1994.[4]
The local church northwest of the settlement is dedicated toOur Lady of the Snows and belongs to theParish ofStudeno.[5]
