Dwarf cuscus (Strigocuscus) is anocturnal,arborealmarsupialgenus in the familyPhalangeridae found only inSulawesi (the largest island inWallacea) and some of its surrounding small offshore islands.[1] Due to the uniquebiogeography of Sulawesi giving sub-regions ofendemism, it is likely that there are several different species or subspecies as yet to be described by science.[2] So far, the genus contains the followingspecies:
