Stockton is a village andcivil parish 17 miles (27 km) south east ofShrewsbury,[1] in theShropshire district, in the county ofShropshire, England. The parish includes the village ofNorton and the hamlet ofHigford.[2] In 2011, the parish had a population of 331.[3] The parish touchesAstley Abbotts,Badger,Barrow,Beckbury,Broseley,Sutton Maddock andWorfield.[4]
