He played forManu Samoa in the1999 and2003 Rugby World Cup. He also played for thePacific Islanders team in 2004. He is the older brother of New ZealandAll Blacksrugby union international andWellington HurricanesSuper Rugby player,Rodney So'oialo, and ofJames So'oialo, who has also represented Samoa internationally.
