Steve Trimble (May 11, 1958 – July 11, 2011) was anAmerican footballdefensive back in theNational Football League (NFL), theUnited States Football League (USFL), and theArena Football League (AFL). He playedcollege football atMaryland, and high school atFort Hill inCumberland, Maryland.[1]

Trimble was the head coach ofBishop Denis J. O'Connell High School inArlington, Virginia from 2002 through 2010. He also coached in the NFL, Arena Football League, andcollege football.[1]

Trimble died of a heart attack at O'Connell High School on July 11, 2011.[2]

Personal life

Trimble is survived on by his daughter, four sons, and wife Gretchen.[1][3]
