Steve Romanik (May 27, 1924 – September 16, 2009)[1] was an American professionalfootball player. Romanik grew up inMillville, New Jersey of a Ukrainian-American family, and played high school football atMillville Senior High School, later serving on the Millville City Commission.[2] He played collegiate football for theVillanova Wildcats, and played quarterback in the NFL from 1950 to 1954 for theChicago Bears andChicago Cardinals.[3]
