TheSterling micropolitan statistical area is aUnited States Census Bureau definedmicropolitan statistical area around the city ofSterling in theState of Colorado. The Sterling micropolitan statistical area is defined asLogan County, Colorado, and had a population of 20,504 at the2000 Census. A July 1, 2009, U.S. Census Bureau estimate placed the population at 20,772.[1]

The Sterling micropolitan statistical area includes theCity of Sterling, theTown of Crook, theTown of Fleming, theTown of Iliff, theTown of Merino, theTown of Peetz, and theunincorporated areas ofLogan County.
