Stephen DeRosa (born June 10, 1968) is an American actor. He is best known for his theatre credits and portrayingEddie Cantor in the television seriesBoardwalk Empire (2010–2013).
He attendedGeorgetown University inWashington, D.C., as an undergraduate, and graduated from theYale School of Drama inNew Haven,Connecticut, with aMaster of Fine Arts in 1995.
Although DeRosa's career has primarily been in the theatre, he has also made several television appearances.[1] These include thetelevision filmThe Man Who Came to Dinner (2000), guest appearances on thetelevision seriesLaw & Order,Third Watch, andUgly Betty,[2] a recurring role asEddie Cantor onBoardwalk Empire, and his appearance in the miniseriesWormwood (2017).
He appeared at a staged reading ofYou Can't Take It with You for The Acting Company at Playwrights Horizons, withF. Murray Abraham.[3]
