Stefano Malinverni (14 May 1959 – 19 June 2024) was an Italian sprinter who specialized in the400 metres.
Malinverni won six medals at theInternational athletics competitions, four of these withnational relays team.[1] He participated at one edition of theSummer Olympics (1980), he has 36 caps innational team from 1977 to 1986.[2]
He won a bronze medal in the4 × 400 metres relay at the1980 Summer Olympics, with teammatesMauro Zuliani,Roberto Tozzi andPietro Mennea. His personal best time was 46.09 seconds, achieved in July 1981 inMilan.[3]
Malinverni died in Milan on 19 June 2024, at the age of 65.[4]
