Stebnyk (Ukrainian:Стебник,IPA:[ˈstɛbnɪk]ⓘ) is a city inDrohobych Raion inLviv Oblast (province) of westernUkraine, close to the border withPoland. It is located in theDrohobych municipality. It belongs toDrohobych urban hromada, one of thehromadas of Ukraine.[1] Population:20,200 (2022 estimate).[2]
Until 18 July 2020, Stebnyk belonged to Drohobych Municipality. As part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Lviv Oblast to seven, Drohobych Municipality was merged into Drohobych Raion.[3][4]
