Staten Island Cakes is an Americanfood reality-television series airing onWE tv. The series stars Vincent "Vinny" Buzzetta,[1] anItalian-Americancake artist who lives and works onStaten Island, aborough ofNew York City,New York.
Buzzetta was born on October 4, 1989, in theBrooklyn borough of New York City.[2] He and his family moved to Staten Island when he was 13 years old, but he continued to attendXaverian High School in Brooklyn, from which he graduated in 2007.[2] In February 2008, Buzzetta graduated first in his class from theFrench Culinary Institute – located in New York City'sManhattan borough – the youngest person ever to complete the institute's program.[2] On October 31, 2008, with financial backing from his grandfather, Buzzetta opened his bakery, The Cake Artist, onForest Avenue in theWest Brighton neighborhood[1] of Staten Island.[2]
