TheStadion Miejski (English:Municipal Stadium), namedEXBUD Arena due to the sponsorship reasons,[2] is amulti-purpose stadium inKielce,Poland. It is currently used mostly forfootball matches and is the home ground ofKorona Kielce. The stadium holds 15,500 spectators and was built in 2006. At the time, it was one of the most modern football stadiums inPoland.
On 1 April 2006, eighteen months to the day that construction started on the project, its inaugural match took place, anEkstraklasa match betweenKorona andZagłębie Lubin. The match finished in a 1–1 draw.
The old stadium ofKorona is currently being used byKorona Kielce II (the reserve team).

So far thePoland national football team played 3 matches in the new Kielce stadium. The first was against Armenia during thequalification phase of Euro 2008. The second match was against San Marino during thequalifications for the 2010 World Cup. That game was notable for two reasons: 1) the Polish team achieved its highest victory ever, 10:0, beating its 46 years old record (a 9:0 victory against Norway in 1963).2) Poland scored its fastest goal ever thanks toRafał Boguski, who scored for 1-0 already in the 23rd second of the game.
A friendly match againstFinland took place at the stadium on 23 May 2010.
