TheSovanco fracture zone is a right lateral-movingtransform fault and associatedfracture zone located offshore ofVancouver Island inCanada. It runs between the northern end of theJuan de Fuca Ridge and the southern end of theExplorer Ridge, forming part of the boundary between thePacific plate and theExplorer plate. To its west lies theExplorer Seamount.
