South Shillong is one of the 60Legislative Assembly constituencies ofMeghalaya state inIndia.^[2] It is part ofEast Khasi Hills district. It falls underShillong Lok Sabha constituency and comprises Wards 22 to 27 of theShillong Municipal Corporation as well asShillong Cantonment.^[3] Its current MLA isSanbor Shullai of theBharatiya Janata Party.^[1]
