South Giziga (60,000 speakers) is spoken south ofMaroua in theDiamaré plain around the small massifs ofLoutou,Moutourwa,Midjivin, etc. (inDiamaré department,Maroua commune andMayo-Kani department, communes ofMindif,Kaélé, andMoutourwa).[2]
