South Fork is anunincorporated community andcensus-designated place (CDP) inHowell County,Missouri, United States.[2] It is located 10 miles (16 km) southwest ofWest Plains onU.S. Route 160. As of the2010 census, South Fork had a population of 241.[3]
A post office called South Fork was established in 1860, and remained in operation until 1960.[4] The community was named after the nearbySouth Fork of the Spring River.[5]
