TheSouth Coast is aregion ofCalifornia, making up roughly the southernmost quarter of theCalifornian coast.

ASouthern California coastalbioregion is defined byCalifornia Environmental Resources Evaluation System (CERES) as including parts of six counties: the western section ofVentura, all ofOrange, the majority ofLos Angeles, the southwestern corner ofSan Bernardino, the western area ofRiverside, and the majority of westernSan Diego. CERES calls this the South Coast Bioregion.[1]
