Sonja Stanek is an Austrian former competitivefigure skater. She is the1978 Blue Swords silver medalist, 1979Karl Schäfer Memorial silver medalist,[1] and 1983Austrian national champion.[2] She competed at multipleISU Championships, finishing in the top ten at the1983 European Championships inDortmund. Her best world result, 14th, came at the1983 World Championships inHelsinki.
