Somatorelin is adiagnostic agent for determininggrowth hormone deficiency.[1] It is arecombinant version ofgrowth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH).

Somatorelin has been used to study hormone deficiency (particularlygrowth hormone deficiency), cognitive impairment, sleep disorders, and aging.[2]
