Joseph Yokozuna Fatu (born March 18, 1993), better known by hisring nameSolo Sikoa, is an Americanprofessional wrestler. He is signed toWWE, where he performs on theRawbrand as the leader ofThe MFT stable.

After Fatu playedcollege football atAmerican River College in Sacramento, he began his professional wrestling career in 2018 under the ring nameSefa Fatu on theindependent circuit. He then signed with WWE in 2021 and was assigned to theNXT brand as Solo Sikoa before being called up to the main roster a year later, debuting atClash at the Castle. He joinedThe Bloodline stable at first as a silent enforcer, then was repackaged as the self-proclaimed "Tribal Chief" before the stable phased out its name from January 2025. In the WWE, he has held theNXT North American Championship and theWWE United States Championship once each.

As the son ofRikishi and brother ofJonathan andJoshua (Jimmy and Jey Uso), Fatu is a member of theAnoaʻi family of Samoan wrestlers.

Early life

Fatu was born into theAnoaʻi family ofSamoan wrestlers, which includes his fatherRikishi and older twin brothersJonathan andJoshua.[3] He is named after his first cousin once removed's in-ring name,Yokozuna.[3] He playedAmerican football atAmerican River College in Sacramento andDickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota.[4][5]

Professional wrestling career

Independent circuit (2018–2021)

On April 29, 2018, Fatu made his in-ring debut under the ring name Sefa Fatu and regularly teamed up with his cousins,Jacob and Journey Fatu.[6] On January 25, 2019, Fatu would win the FSW Nevada State Championship, holding the belt for 149 days until losing toHammerstone in June.[7] In August 2019, Fatu defeated Watson to win the Arizona Wrestling Federation (AWF) heavyweight title, which he held for 418 days until losing it in January 2021.[8]

WWE (2021–present)

NXT (2021–2022)

On August 30, 2021, it was announced that Fatu signed a contract withWWE.[9] He was assigned to their development brand,NXT, and made his debut on October 26 atHalloween Havoc under the ring nameSolo Sikoa, interrupting a segment between co-hostsGrayson Waller andLA Knight before attacking Waller.[10] Sikoa made his in-ring debut on the November 2 episode ofNXT, defeatingJeet Rama.[11] In December, Sikoa began afeud withBoa after his alter-ego attacked and choked him backstage.[12] They fought to adouble countout on the January 11, 2022 episode ofNXT,[13] but Sikoa defeated Boa in aNo DisqualificationFalls Count Anywhere match on the January 25 episode ofNXT.[14] On the March 1 episode ofNXT, Sikoa suffered his first loss in NXT againstGunther, ending his undefeated streak.[15]

Sikoa competed in afive-wayladder match for theNXT North American Championship at theStand & Deliverpay-per-view on April 2, which was won byCameron Grimes.[16] He failed to win the title from Grimes on the April 12 episode ofNXT and in atriple threat match involvingCarmelo Hayes atSpring Breakin' on May 3.[17][18] After weeks of brawling between Sikoa andVon Wagner, Sikoa defeated Wagner in a Falls Count Anywhere match on the August 2 episode ofNXT in his final match for the brand,[19][20] suffering a knee injury in the process.[21]

AtClash at the Castle on September 3, 2022, Sikoa returned from injury and interfered in the main event match between his cousinRoman Reigns andDrew McIntyre, helping Reigns retain theUndisputed WWE Universal Championship and aligning himself withThe Bloodline, turningheel in the process.[22] He made his main roster in-ring debut against McIntyre on the September 9 episode ofSmackDown, losing by disqualification afterKarrion Kross attacked McIntyre.[23] On the September 13 episode ofNXT 2.0, Sikoa made a surprise appearance, defeating Hayes to win the NXT North American Championship.[24] He retained the title three nights later onSmackDown againstMadcap Moss,[25] but was forced to vacate it on the September 20 episode ofNXT.[26] AtSurvivor Series: WarGames on November 26, Sikoa and The Bloodline defeatedThe Brawling Brutes (Sheamus,Ridge Holland andButch), McIntyre andKevin Owens in aWarGames match.[27] He suffered his firstpinfall loss on the main roster againstCody Rhodes on the March 27, 2023 episode ofRaw.[28] On Night 2 ofWrestleMania 39 on April 2, Sikoa helped Reigns retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Rhodes in the main event.[29] On May 6, atBacklash, Sikoa andThe Usos defeated Owens,Sami Zayn andMatt Riddle in asix-man tag team match.[30]

AtNight of Champions on May 27, Sikoa and Reigns unsuccessfully challengedOwens and Zayn for theUndisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. During the match, The Usos interfered and accidentally attacked Sikoa while aiming for Zayn, causingJimmy Uso to attack Reigns and The Usos to walk away from The Bloodline.[31] On the June 2 episode ofSmackDown, during Reigns' celebration of 1,000 days as Universal Champion, Sikoa turned on Jimmy and excommunicated him from The Bloodline on Reigns' order for his brother's actions.[32] On the June 16 episode ofSmackDown, Sikoa's other brother,Jey, turned on Reigns and Sikoa to side with Jimmy.[33] AtMoney in the Bank on July 1, Reigns and Sikoa lost to The Usos in a "Bloodline Civil War" tag team match after Jey pinned Reigns.[34]

Sikoa and Jimmy, who had rejoined the stable, entered a feud with a returningJohn Cena andAJ Styles in September.[35] A tag team match was set between them against Cena and Styles forFastlane on October 7, however, Styles was removed from the match after a backstage attack by Sikoa, and he was replaced by LA Knight.[36][37] They lost to Cena and Knight at Fastlane.[38] On the October 20 episode ofSmackDown, Cena teased retirement before calling out anyone to face him, leading to Sikoa coming out and brawling with Cena, setting up a match between the two atCrown Jewel on November 4,[39] where Sikoa defeated Cena after nineSamoan Spikes.[40] On Night 2 ofWrestleMania XL on April 7, 2024, Sikoa attempted to assist Reigns against Rhodes again, only to be thwarted by a returning Cena, who delivered anAttitude Adjustment to Sikoa through the announce table.[41]

Leader of the Bloodline and MFT (2024–present)

In the absence of Reigns, Sikoa appointed himself as thede facto leader of The Bloodline, exilingJimmy Uso and recruitingTama Tonga as his right-hand man, much to the fear ofPaul Heyman.[42][43] AtBacklash France on May 4, Sikoa and Tonga defeatedRandy Orton and Owens in a Tag Team Street Fight with the help of the returningTonga Loa, who joined the Bloodline.[44] On June 15, Sikoa began a feud with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes atClash at the Castle: Scotland.[45] During the following weeks, Sikoa recruitedJacob Fatu, kicked Heyman out of the stable, and replaced Reigns as the leader and Tribal Chief, revealing that he was in possession of Reigns' Ula Fala.[46][47][48] AtMoney in the Bank on July 6, Sikoa, Tonga and Fatu defeated Rhodes, Orton and Owens after Sikoa pinned Rhodes.[49] AtSummerSlam on August 3, Sikoa failed to win the title from Rhodes in a Bloodline Rules match after interference from the returning Reigns.[50] On the September 13 episode ofSmackDown, Sikoa again failed to win the title from Rhodes in asteel cage match.[51]

On October 5, atBad Blood, Sikoa and Fatu lost to Reigns and Rhodes after interference from a returning Jimmy Uso, with Sikoa being pinned by Reigns.[52] AtCrown Jewel on November 2, Sikoa, Tonga and Fatu defeated the original incarnation of The Bloodline (Reigns and The Usos), with Sikoa pinning Reigns.[53] AtSurvivor Series: WarGames on November 30, The Bloodline andBronson Reed lost to Reigns, The Usos, Zayn andCM Punk in a WarGames match, with Sikoa being pinned by Reigns.[54] Reigns then challenged Sikoa for the Ula Fala and Tribal Chief title inTribal Combat at theRaw premiere on Netflix on January 6, 2025,[55][56] which Sikoa lost to end their feud.[57]

Sikoa started a feud with Fatu after he won theWWE United States Championship atWrestleMania 41,[58] recruitingJeff Cobb, who was renamed to JC Mateo, into the Bloodline.[59][60][61] AtMoney in the Bank on June 7, Sikoa failed to win thenamesake ladder match after Fatu turned on him.[62][63] AtNight of Champions on June 28, Sikoa defeated Fatu to win the championship after interference from Mateo, the returning Tonga Loa and the debutingTalla Tonga.[64] Following the event, Sikoa rebranded the Bloodline as the "MFT" (My Family Tree).[65] At Night 2 ofSummerSlam on August 3, Sikoa retained the title against Fatu in a steel cage match.[66] He lost the title to Sami Zayn on the August 29 episode ofSmackDown, ending his reign at 62 days.[67]
