Calyx Harmony Hampton (born August 26, 1999) is an Americanprofessional wrestler. As of March 2022^[update], she is signed toWWE, where she performs on theNXTbrand under thering name Sol Ruca. She is a former one-timeNXT Women's North American Champion and one-timeWWE Women's Speed Champion, holding both titles simultaneously for the longest reigns in their respective histories. She is also the longest-reigning WWE/NXT Women's Double Champion in history.^[3]

Calyx Harmony Hampton was born on August 26, 1999 fromHeaven,^[4][5] in theInland Empire.^[6] She isbiracial as her father isAfrican American musician,Paul A Hampton, and her mother isEuropean American Sandy Brown-Hampton.^[7][8] She has a brother named Coda.^[6] In 2017, Hampton graduated fromWestern Christian High School, inUpland, California. She then majored inhuman physiology at theUniversity of Oregon, where she also competed ingymnastics.^[6]

Hampton was part of a group of new recruits signed to theWWE Performance Center in March 2022.^[9] She had no previous wrestling experience, instead coming from an acrobatics and tumbling background.^[6] She began to work under thering nameSol Ruca,^[1] gaining viral fame for her innovative finisher, aspringboard frontflip cutter dubbed theSol Snatcher.^[10] She made her in-ring debut on June 24, 2022 at alive event, and her on-screen debut on the July 15 episode ofNXT Level Up, losing toKiana James.^[11] In April 2023, Ruca was written off television as she required surgery for her rupturedACL.^[12] Prior to being written off, Ruca appeared on Night 1 ofWrestleMania 39 in acinnamoji costume duringRey Mysterio's entrance.^[13] Ruca returned from injury atNXT: Roadblock on March 5, 2024, attackingBlair Davenport, who had injured Ruca inkayfabe.^[14] Ruca defeated Davenport twice, first atNXT^[15] and later, atSpring Breakin' in aBeach Brawl.^[16][17] On the June 25 episode ofNXT, Ruca defeatedArianna Grace to earn aNXT Women's North American Championship match againstKelani Jordan atNXT Heatwave on July 7, but failed to win the title from Jordan.^[18][19]

AtNXT Deadline on December 7, Ruca competed in theWomen’s Iron Survivor Challenge to determine the number one contender for theNXT Women's Championship, where she would lose.^[20] She went on to form a tag team with fellow Iron Survivor Challenge competitorZaria (later colloquially known as ZaRuca). The pair teamed up for the first time on the December 17 episode ofNXT in a tag team match againstThe Meta-Girls (Jakara Jackson andLash Legend) in a losing effort.^[21] On the March 4, 2025 episode ofNXT, ZaRuca defeatedPiper NivenandWomen's United States ChampionChelsea Green, with Ruca pinning Green.^[22] As a result, Ruca received a Women's United States Championship match two weeks later, but she failed to defeat Green for the title.^[23] On the April 9 episode ofSpeed, Ruca defeatedSmackDown'sMichin in the final of theWomen's Speed Championship#1 contender tournament and went on to defeatCandice LeRae for the title on April 11 (aired April 16 ontape delay) to win her first championship.^[24][25] AtNXT Stand & Deliver on April 19, Ruca won the vacant NXT Women's North American Championship in a six-woman ladder match also involving Zaria,^[26] becoming the second NXT women's double champion in the process.^[27]

On the April 29 episode ofNXT, she successfully defended her NXT Women's North American Championship againstKarmen Petrovic in her first title defense. Ruca wrestled her main roster debut match on the July 11 episode ofSmackDown in afatal four-way match against the other three representatives of theEvolutionWWE Women's Tag Team Championshipfatal four-way tag team match involving championsThe Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez andRoxanne Perez),Charlotte Flair andAlexa Bliss, andThe Kabuki Warriors (Asuka andKairi Sane).^[28] AtNXT The Great American Bash on July 12, Ruca successfully defended the NXT North American Championship againstIzzi Dame.^[29] The following night at Evolution, ZaRuca failed to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.^[30] On the October 17 episode ofSmackDown, ZaRuca unsuccessfully challenged for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Ruca injuring her left knee in the process.^[31] She subsequently lost the NXT Women's North American Championship atNXT Halloween Havoc after Zaria, who defended the title, lost to Monroe,^[32] and vacated the Women's Speed Championship,^[33] ending her record-setting reign for both titles at 189 days and 195 days, respectively. At Night 1 ofNXT: Gold Rush on November 18, Ruca failed to regain the NXT Women's North American Championship from Monroe after Zariathrew in the towel.^[34] In December, Ruca was selected byJohn Cena as one of the participants of the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge atNXT Deadline and to wrestle in Cena’s final event atSaturday Night's Main Event XLII againstBayley.^[35] For defeating Bayley, Ruca was awarded with a Women's United States Championship match against Chelsea Green but she failed to win the title after interference fromAlba Fyre andEthan Page.^[36]

On the January 20, 2026 episode ofNXT, ZaRuca defeatedFatal Influence (Fallon Henley andLainey Reid) andWrenQCC (Wren Sinclair andKendal Grey) in atriple threat tag team match to earn aTNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship match.^[37] On January 31 atRoyal Rumble, Ruca made herwomen's Royal Rumble match debut, where she lasted as the final three competitor before being eliminated byTiffany Stratton.^[38] Three days later onNXT, ZaRuca failed to defeatThe Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship after infighting between Ruca and Zaria.^[39]

On the September 10, 2024 episode ofNXT, Sol Ruca answeredTNA Knockouts World ChampionJordynne Grace's championship open challenge, which ended in a no-contest after Ruca and Grace were both taken out byRosemary and NXT'sWendy Choo.^[40] On the September 26 episode ofImpact!, Ruca made herTotal Nonstop Action Wrestling debut, where she teamed with Grace to face Choo and Rosemary in a tag team match. The match ended in a no contest afterTasha Steelz andMasha Slamovich interfered in the match.^[41] On the October 10 episode ofImpact!, Ruca, Grace and Slamovich defeated Choo, Rosemary and Steelz in asix-woman tag team match.^[42]

AtThursday Night Impact! premiere on AMC on January 15, 2026, Ruca returned to TNA with Zaria to scout for a potential title shot at theTNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.^[43]
