Fortified settlement of ancient Cappadocia

Soanda (Ancient Greek:Σόανδα), orSoandum orSoandon (Σόανδον), was a fortified settlement ofancient Cappadocia, inhabited inRoman times.[1][2][3] The same place seems to be alluded to byFrontinus, who calls itSuenda.[4]

Its site is tentatively located nearUşaklı Höyük (Kuşaklı Hüyük),Asiatic Turkey.[1][5]
