ASnoopy cap, orcommunication cap, is a part of aspace suit worn by American astronauts on the head and incorporating anaudio headset for communication.[1]The cap is nicknamed afterthe Peanuts character, whom its black and white paneling resembled.[2]ItsNASA designation isCommunications Carrier Assembly.[3] The "Snoopy cap" includes two earphones and two microphones, to tolerate failure of a single unit.[4]
