Skyvatn is alake in the northern part of the municipality ofBykle inAgder county,Norway. The lake is located south of the lakeHolmavatnet and northwest of the lakeHartevatnet. The village ofHovden in Bykle is the nearest village, located about 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) southeast of the lake.
The lake has an area of 4.35 square kilometres (1.68 sq mi) and is located in theSetesdalsheiene mountains at an elevation of 1,090 metres (3,580 ft) above sea level. The mountains ofStorhellernuten,Skyvassnuten, andSveigen are all located to the northwest, west, and southwest, respectively.[1]
