Sky Max is aBritishpay television channel and on-demand service which launched on 1 September 2021. It is owned and operated bySky Group, a subsidiary ofComcast.[1] The service broadcasts a variety of drama, comedy-drama, and unscripted series.

Sky Max was announced on 28 July 2021, along withSky Showcase, to replaceSky One; the former flagship which had been on air for nearly 40 years.[2][3] Sky Max broadcasts the entertainment and drama output previously shown on Sky One, while most of Sky One's comedy output was transferred toSky Comedy.[4][5][6]

Sky Max is set to shut down alongside Sky Showcase on 24 February 2026 and be replaced by the relaunched Sky One channel.[7][8]
