Sirone (Brianzöö:Sirònn) is acomune (municipality) in theProvince of Lecco in theItalian regionLombardy, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast ofMilan and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) southwest ofLecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,270 and an area of 3.2 square kilometres (1.2 sq mi).[3]
