Sirio Carrapa (born 12 May 1952 inBorgagne) is an Italian teacher and practitioner ofmysticism andSurat Shabd Yoga in theSant Mat tradition. He was a disciple ofKirpal Singh andAjaib Singh, and he is acknowledged as a spiritual Master ("Sant" orSatguru), carrying on the work of his Masters.[1][2]
He was born on 12 May, in 1952 in Borgagne, which is in one of the southernmost regions of Italy,Apulia. He lived there with his parents and four siblings until the age of 10, then in 1962 the family moved toMilan. He lived there until he moved to Tuscany, in the villageRibolla (Grosseto) in 1979, where he founded theSant Bani Ashram.[3]
