Sindumin is a town located in the district ofSipitang inSabah,Malaysia. The town was formerly known asMengalong until the mid-20th century. It is situated on the Sabah-Sarawak border in theInterior Division of Sabah along the Mengalong river, and is also one of the towns within theBrunei Bay. Many residents here are ofKedayan,Murut and theLundayeh/Lun Bawang descent. The town opposite Sindumin inSarawak is Merapok ofLawas District inLimbang Division.
