TheSindh Museum (Urdu:سندھ میوزیم) is a museum located inHyderabad,Sindh,Pakistan.[1] The museum was established in 1971[2] to collect, preserve, study, and exhibit the records of the culturalhistory of Sindh. It also sometimes hosts cultural fairs.[3][4]
The museum features the history and heritage of the Sindh and theIndus Valley civilization. Items from various ruling periods of Sindh, includingSamma,Soomra,Kalhora, andTalpur periods can be viewed by the visitors. The museum also showcases the past and present village lifestyle of Sindh.[5]
The museum is divided into two sections – one housing the display galleries, while the other is anopen-air area.[2]
