Sihong County (simplified Chinese:泗洪县;traditional Chinese:泗洪縣;pinyin:Sìhóng Xiàn) is under the administration ofSuqian,Jiangsu province, China. It borders theprefecture-level cities ofHuai'an to the southeast,Chuzhou (Anhui) to the south,Bengbu (Anhui) to the west, andSuzhou (Anhui) to the northwest.
The area that later became Sihong County probably served as center for thestate ofXu duringSpring and Autumn period, and harbored its capital city.[3]
At present, Sihong County has 14towns and 9townships under its jurisdiction.[4]
