Shot Tower Historical State Park is astate park located near the town ofAustinville, Virginia. Its centerpiece is theJackson Ferry Shot Tower, located along theNew River, which was for many years used for the creation ofammunition.[1] The tower is listed on theNational Register of Historic Places.
