Shorkot (Urdu:تحصیل شورکوٹ) is atehsil inJhang District,Punjab,Pakistan. It is subdivided into 29Union Councils.[1] The city ofShorkot is the headquarters of the tehsil.[2][3]

Language

A Punjabi dialect ofJhangochi is spoken by the majority of the people in the rural areas, andmainstream Punjabi language in the cities of Jhang district.
