Shirdi is one of the 48Lok Sabha (lower house ofIndian parliament)constituencies of theIndian state ofMaharashtra. This constituency was created on 19 February 2008 as a part of the implementation of thePresidential notification based on the recommendations of theDelimitation Commission of India constituted on 12 July 2002.[1][2] This constituency is one of the two Lok Sabha constituencies inAhmednagar district.[3] It first held elections in 2009 and its first member of parliament (MP) wasBhausaheb Rajaram Wakchaure ofShiv Sena. As of the2024 elections, its current MP isBhausaheb Rajaram Wakchaure also ofShiv Sena (UBT) .
