The movie was adapted from the novelWater & Fire.[2][3] The film became the 50th acting credit for Jeet.
A Dhaka-based businessman Mahid Sheikh falls for Pujarini, a charming research scholar from Kolkata but dark secrets from Mahid's past threaten to resurface and shatter their peaceful world.
The directorRaj Chakraborty and the leading pairJeet andKoel Mallick are collaborating after 4 years since they last worked together in the 2015 filmBesh Korechi Prem Korechi.[7]
