Shavon Revel Jr. (born April 8, 2001) is an American professionalfootballcornerback for theDallas Cowboys of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theLouisburg Hurricanes andEast Carolina Pirates. Revel was selected by the Cowboys in the third round of the2025 NFL draft.
Revel was born on April 8, 2001, in theWinston-Salem, North Carolina, area.[1] He attendedRichard J. Reynolds High School before transferring toRonald W. Reagan High School in nearbyPfafftown, North Carolina, as a senior in 2019.[2] Revel playedcornerback andwide receiver for their football team and was aletterman intrack and field, participating in the55 meters,300 meters,long jump, andhigh jump events.[2]
Revel enrolled atLouisburg College in 2020 to playcollege football for the Hurricanes.[2] Due to theCOVID-19 pandemic, he did not compete his freshman season and only played six games in 2021.[2] He transferred toEast Carolina University in December 2021 to play for thePirates.[2] Revel earned second-teamAmerican Athletic Conference honors with the Pirates in2023.[3] Against theAppalachian State Mountaineers in 2024, he returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown.[4] A few days later, he suffered atorn ACL in practice and missed the rest of the season.[5] Revel declared for the2025 NFL draft in November 2024.[6]

Revel was selected in the third round (76th overall) of the2025 NFL draft by theDallas Cowboys.[9]
