Shanker Shesh was anIndian playwright, author, poet and story writer.[1][2]
Shanker was born on 2 October 1933 inBilaspur,Central Provinces and Berar, British India. He did his higher education inNagpur andMumbai. He got hisPh.D. fromNagpur University in 1964.[3][4]
Shesh was associated withtheatre from 1956 and remained associated throughout his life. While being appointed as the Chief Hindi Officer ofState Bank of India inMumbai, he continued to do playwriting and other creative work.[5] He was also fluent inMarathi Language and also translated some marathi plays in hindi.[6]
Shesh died on 28 October 1981 inSrinagar,Jammu & Kashmir.[7]
