Jesse Shang Hailong (Chinese:尚海龍; born 1982) is a member of theLegislative Council of Hong Kong forElection Committee constituency. He is a strategic consultant ofSenseTime, an artificial intelligence company,[1] and a company consultant of China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited.[2]
Shang was born inShaanxi and grew up with his father inQinghai. He worked inChina Mobile after graduation. He traveled to Hong Kong for the first time in 2006 and settled in Hong Kong through the Admission Scheme for Mainland Talents and Professionals in 2011.[3][4] He was graduated fromTsinghua University with a Master of Public Administration in 2021.[5]
He was elected to theLegislative Council of Hong Kong throughElection Committee constituency in the18 December 2022 by-election with 812 votes.[6]
