Shane Klakken is an American politician. He serves as aRepublican member for the 37th district of theMontana House of Representatives. The district coversFergus andPetroleum counties.
Klakken first ran for election in2024. Due to redistricting following theUS census incumbentJerry Schillinger ran for District 34.[1] Klakken defeated Democratic challenger Andrea Payne with 74% of the votes.[2]
Klakken was born inLewistown, Montana.[3] He attended theUniversity of Montana where he joined theArmy Reserve Officers' Training Corps.[3] After active service he joined the Montana Army National Guard. He also worked as a law enforcement pilot forU.S. Customs and Border Protection.[3]
