Shane Hernandez (born August 23, 1982) is an American politician and architect[2] who served in theMichigan House of Representatives from the83rd district from 2017 to 2020.[3]
WithPaul Mitchell opting not to run for reelection to theUnited States House of Representatives forMichigan's 10th congressional district in the2020 elections, Hernandez ran to succeed him.[4] He lost toLisa McClain in the August 4Republican Partyprimary election.[5] On August 19, 2022, the Republican nominee for Michigan GovernorTudor Dixon selected Hernandez as her choice for running mate for the2022 Michigan gubernatorial election.[6]
