Shahranaz (Arabic:شهرناز) is aSyrian town located in theQalaat al-Madiq Subdistrict of theal-Suqaylabiyah District inHama Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Shahranaz had a population of 1,646 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlySunni Muslims.[2]
