  • Machine translation, likeDeepL orGoogle Translate, is a useful starting point for translations, but translators must revise errors as necessary and confirm that the translation is accurate, rather than simply copy-pasting machine-translated text into the English Wikipedia.
  • Consideradding a topic to this template: there are already 1,762 articles in themain category, and specifying|topic= will aid in categorization.
  • Do not translate text that appears unreliable or low-quality. If possible, verify the text with references provided in the foreign-language article.
  • Youmust providecopyright attribution in theedit summary accompanying your translation by providing aninterlanguage link to the source of your translation. TheServants of Jesus and Mary (Servi Jesu et Mariae – SJM) are aRoman Catholiccongregation which was founded in 1988 byAndreas Hönisch, a formerJesuit, expelled by his congregation due to hisTraditionalist Catholic views on both theology and pedagogy.

The first members were the GermanCatholic Scouts of Europe founded inGiessen 1976.[1] Until today thepastoral care of European scout groups and youth work is one of the main priorities of the congregation.[2] The first priests were trained and formed at the seminary of thePriestly Fraternity of Saint Peter and at the seminary of theDiocese of Fulda, but now they have their ownseminary inBlindenmarkt inLower Austria.[3]

On 16 July 1994, cardinalAntonio Innocenti recognised Servi Jesu et Mariae as a Congregation of Papal Law, attached to the Pontifical CommissionEcclesia Dei. According to themselves they try to fulfill the pre-conciliar life of theSociety of Jesus. In accordance with that goal they celebrate theTridentine Mass, but also use the currentmissal ofPope Paul VI.[4] Since 2014, Paul Schindele heads the congregation.[5]
