Thedwarf multimammate mouse (Serengetimys pernanus) is a species ofrodent in the familyMuridae. It is the only member of the genusSerengetimys; it was formerly classified in the genusMastomys.[2][3]
It is found inKenya,Rwanda, andTanzania.Its naturalhabitat issavanna, such as that present in the famousSerengeti National Park, which gave the genus its name.[4]
