Selsted is a hamlet inKent, England. It is in thelocal government district ofFolkestone and Hythe, and the electoralward of North Downs East.[1]
During 2006, protests were held against a proposed closure of Selsted Church of England Primary School[2] byKent County Council,[3][4] however, the plan was abandoned in September 2006.[5]
The village has a cricket team in Division 2 of the Kent Village League,[6] and who were the 2007 Lords Ashford League Champions.[7]
